at St. Michael’s Abbey,
the Norbertine Fathers of Orange County, California, released this
second CD. Recorded in the Abbey’s small church, this cross
section of
favorites includes music from the Renaissance era and chants from the
liturgy sung on Easter, Pentecost, Christmas and other great feasts.
After centuries of use, these chants still retain their sacramental
quality. Proceeds from the sale of this CD support the relocation of
the Abbey and its preparatory school.
